Solar Trailers for Downer EDI

Downer EDI have partnered with Logan City Council to deliver over $500million worth of infrastructure upgrades for Logan Water.

Hembrows were recently contracted to supply Downer EDI with two of our 9.72kW solar trailers in place of a 20kVa diesel generator for one of these infrastructure projects at Logan Reserve.

The whole site is now run off renewable energy and is providing power to site sheds, fridges, air conditioners, water pump, computers and lunch room facilities.

By changing over to a renewable source of energy throughout the duration of this 6 month long project, Downer EDI will now save 12,750L of diesel, offsetting over 34,000kg of CO2.
